This waterfront venue not only features several bars, but it’s also a performance venue and invites popular musicians to the stage all year round. If playing games is your thing, iCompete Experience is the place for your next date. Just a short drive from Southlake in Lewisville, you can participate in the ultimate amusement center experience and get your game on. You can participate in augmented reality experiences like no other at this special game spot. Activities at iCompete include everything from axe throwing, simulated golf games, and dart throwing to batting, billiards, and other types of immersive technology activities. There’s also a fully stocked kitchen to grab a bite to eat as well as a complete bar to get adult beverages.

Craft & Wine
Craft & Wine is your destination for dinner and drinks in downtown Roanoke. The elegant taproom and eatery is ideal for a fancy Friday night date and boasts a quiet, classy atmosphere. You can order dishes or shared plates from the farm-to-table menu, including fresh oysters, tempura deviled eggs, hazelnut crusted goat cheese salad, grilled pork tenderloin, grilled Capra Texas lamb loin chops, and more. You can also try sides of truffle fries, wild mushrooms, and baby vegetables, among others. Desserts include peach crisp and lemon cheesecake, and Craft & Wine’s drink menu includes beers, growlers, wine, and cocktails.

iFly Dallas
If you’re willing to travel a bit to Frisco, you can experience indoor skydiving at iFly Dallas for an adventure like no other. You and your significant other can learn how to skydive indoors with one-on-one instruction in just one night. After the educational session with the instructor, you can get strapped up and ready to experience something unlike anything else in iFLY’s state-of-the-art wind tunnels. You’ll both need to sign a waiver that allows you to fly.

Coyote Drive-In
The ideal date night movie spot is just half an hour away from Fort Worth: the Coyote Drive-In. A premier drive-in movie theater, this spot offers a vintage movie theater atmosphere while showing the latest, most popular flicks up on the big screen. You can grab popcorn and other classic movie concessions, along with local craft beer, all while under the stars. You can also grab dinner from Coyote Drive-In’s canteen, which has an extensive menu featuring hamburgers, mini tacos, chicken wings, chicken tenders, hot dogs, pizza, and other options.
If you’d like to purchase your movie tickets ahead of time, you can do so online. You can catch a flick at the Coyote Drive-In located at 223 NE Fourth Street in Fort Worth any day of the week from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Four Day Weekend – Dallas
If comedy clubs are your thing, you and your loved one are in for a treat. Four Day Weekend – Dallas is just a short drive away from Southlake and puts on award-winning comedy shows for those 18 years old and older. If you’d like to try out a comedy show yourself, you can also take classes with the comedy club’s instructors to master the art.
You can catch a show at Four Day Weekend – Dallas in Sundance Square at 5601 Sears St. in Dallas. You’ll need a ticket, which costs $25 for all general admissions seats, to attend a show, and you can purchase them online ahead of time to secure seats.
White Rock Lake Park
Nature lovers can take a walk around the pleasant White Rock Lake for a breezy afternoon date. The reservoir, which is located in northeast Dallas, is a 1,015-acre city lake that many come to for walks, runs, bike rides, jogs, special events, and picnics in the grassy areas. You can also stop into the Bath House Cultural Center and Dallas Arboretum, which are on-site as well.
